Bruntingthorpe is very much the quintiessential English village made up of period cottages and houses. There are two pubs in the village one of which is very much a traditional village pub with thriving pool, skittles and darts team, the other pub is reknown for the quality of its food. History:
Bruntingthorpe is a village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire. According to the census the parish had a population of 398. The parish also includes the hamlet of Upper Bruntingthorpe. The populations at the 2011 census had increased to 425. The former RAF Bruntingthorpe in now Brutingthorpe Aerodrome. It is in the Domesday Book where it is listed.
