General - Arnesby is a vibrant village with a strong close knit community spirit in some beautiful rural Leicestershire countryside. The village has an old windmill that can be seen from miles around. There are some lovely walks in the area including down a gated road which runs to Peatling Magna. An important event in the village calender is the annual May Fair. Not much is known of Arnesby's history, in the 1086 Doomsday book it is recorded as having 14 villagers and the Norman Church dates back to the 12th century. The village has an unusually large collection of clubs and societies which fulfils everyone's passions and interests, for full details see the villages own website.Tenancy Deta... Read more
